Dr. Zhangfeng JIN is a visiting scholar of the Zhejiang (Zhejiang University) Centre for International Studies on Development and Governance, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Economics at Zhejiang University, and a Research Fellow in the Global Labor Organization (GLO). He also served a temporary position at Beijing Office of The People's Government of Zhejiang Province in 2022. Dr. Jin obtained the B.S. in Statistics from Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics (2011), M.A. in Labor Economics from Zhejiang University (2013) and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Nottingham (2018).
Dr. Jin has been working on how individuals and firms respond to (relaxation of) population control policies over the past five years. Some of his work has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Comparative Economics and Canadian Journal of Economics. Dr. Jin has been invited to present his work at some well-known international conferences such as the American Economic Association Meetings and Econometric Society World Congress, and has also been invited to review articles for academic journals such as Journal of Population Economics and Social Science & Medicine.
