Dr. Yuxi CHAI is the assistant to the Dean of the China Academy of Digital Trade at Zhejiang University. He is a member of the Council of Zhejiang International Economy & Trade Institute. He is also the Office Administrator of the Innovation Center of the Technical Committee for Standardization of New Forms and Models of Foreign Trade at Commercial Sub-Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Commercial Sub-Council).
Dr. Chai has got a batch of papers published in important journals such as International Business Review, China & World Economy, Social Sciences Abroad (in Chinese), etc. Dr. Chai has chaired a NSFC Young Scientist Fund project and a key project of Zhejiang Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences. In his works, a batch of policy papers were highly valued by provincial or ministerial leading officials. Dr. Chai has participated in drafting several China national standards and ISO international standards. He has also published books including Cross-border E-commerce Cases and Theoretical Research on International Business in the Digital Economy Age: New Progresses and New Findings. Dr. Chai serves as a peer reviewer for journals such as International Business Review and Information Systems Journal.
Dr. Chai’s research interests include cross-border electronic commerce, global digital trade as well as cross-border data flow.
