Mr. Zhuang Juzhong is currently an adjunct professor at Fanhai International School of Finance, Fudan University, and academic member of International Finance Forum. He joined the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1997. From 2010 to 2018, he served as ADB's Deputy Chief Economist and Deputy Director General of the Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department, and led ADB delegations to many ASEAN+3 (China, Japan and Korea), APEC, OECD, ESCAP and G20 meetings. He has written extensively on Asian development, covering areas of economic growth, income distribution, macroeconomics, and the economics of climate change, and was one of the principal authors of ADB's recent publication, Asia's Journey to Prosperity: 50 Years of Policy, Market and Technology. Before joining ADB, he worked as a research fellow at the London School of Economics. He obtained his PhD in economics from Manchester University.
